The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing Lay Chaplaincy across the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, by working with the existing lay chaplains in our schools and developing new opportunities for the benefit of our young people. S/he will carry out this role reporting to the executive committee for the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust. The salary for the role is £30,153 to £34,538 depending on experience. Please note that this will be paid pro rata, so the effective salary based on three days per week will be £18,092 to £20,723. There is the potential for this role to increase to full time in the future (1 – 2 years).
The post will be contracted for 39 weeks of the year (however there will be an additional 3 weeks during school holiday times, therefore a total of 42 weeks a year).
